SAINT MARY-OF-THE-WOODS, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Officials at Saint Mary of the Woods College are preparing for their largest fundraising day of the year.
Woods Giving Day will be held on Tuesday, with the goal of bringing in donations from 1,000 unique donors. The previous two years have brought in around $300,000 in donations.
A number of challenges, incentives, and community partners have been announced. For example, donors giving more than $50 will receive a pair of SMWC limited edition ankle socks, sponsored by the Bright Ideas company.
Some of the community partners include restaurants like Azzip Pizza, Culver’s, Little Bear Coffee Company, The Cottage and Chick-fil-A who will be donating various levels of proceeds for specific order types or mentions of Woods Giving Day. Click here for details on how to take advantage.
When it comes to challenges ISU Credit Union will match up to $2,500 donated by Wabash Valley residents. The Alumni Association Board of Directors challenged 100 former board members to donate to unlock an additional $3,000 donation. And an anonymous Alumna from the class of 1963 has agreed to donate $20,000 if at least 700 alumni donate on Woods Giving Day.
Woods Giving Day will last for the entirety of February 6. To donate visit the SMWC website here, or call 888-769-0013.
