TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Drivers are being asked to avoid Interstate 70 near mile marker 11 due to a semi that has caught fire.
According to Vigo County Dispatch, multiple local emergency response crews, including the Terre Haute Police Department, the Terre Haute Fire Department, Riley Fire, and Seeleyville Fire, all responded to the call around 5:38 p.m. on Friday.
Dispatch reported that there was only one vehicle involved in the incident and that there were no injuries. Drivers are asked to avoid the area as crews are currently on the scene and are expected to have I70 clear within an hour.
