WASHINGTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Little Warrior Wishes will be holding an event in Washington, Indiana to honor the lives of children who have died.
Little Warrior Wishes invites families and community members to come and release butterflies into the Boundless Blooms Accessible Garden in Washington. While the butterflies are being released, the names of the children being honored will be read aloud. The gesture is meant to be a symbolic and serene moment of remembrance and connection in a supportive space.
If you want your child’s name to be read, the organization asks that families complete a submission form. The information must be submitted by June 27 and you can find the form at this link.
The event is free and open to the public and will take place on July 3 at 6 p.m. Sponsorships and donations are welcome to help cover the cost of the butterflies and keep the event accessible for all families.
