EDGAR COUNTY, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV)— A preliminary hearing for Rheanna Satterfield was held in the Edgar County court Monday.
According to a representative from the court, a motion for a fitness evaluation was granted by the court. The proceedings are scheduled for June 30.
Satterfield is currently on trial for the death of 31-year-old Dakota J. Gibson. Gibson’s body was found on the roadway in Paris, Illinois, on April 12. Satterfield faces charges of first-degree murder and failure to report a crash involving death.
