TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) — Sunday morning, many families gathered in downtown Terre Haute for an annual Mother’s Day event.
The Terre Haute Convention Center hosted their annual Mother’s Day brunch. The brunch included all of mom’s favorite breakfast items like eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, and mimosas.
Kids who attended the event had the opportunity to create a gift for their mom and give her flowers. The event also gave moms the day to relax and enjoy some family time.
“They just want a day off from all the worries that they have and hold for their children, no matter how old they are. And this gives them a day to celebrate their family, enjoy some families, and they don’t have to do any dishes,” Director of Marketing and Sales Pam Chamberlain said.
