TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The Vigo County History Center announced the opening of a new exhibit featuring the history of local aviation.
“Flight Over Vigo Skies” is a flight simulation over Terre Haute. The simulation will offer different sites to see like Country Club of Terre Haute, the Action Track, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, and so much more. The exhibit also has memorabilia of the airport on display.
Executive Director of the History Center Marla Flowers said it’s a great experience.
“What I wanted was an attraction within the attraction. And I really hope that this is incentive for people to come check out and just see a really unique view of the county that they’ve never seen before,” she said.
If you would like to visit the new exhibit it is located on the first floor at the History Center.
