TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Southern Vigo County will soon have another dining option.
Work has begun on a new McDonald’s. The restaurant will be located on East Jessica Drive near Menards. $1.5 million is being invested into this new location. County leaders say this will be a benefit to people in that area.
“It’s extremely beneficial to the folks attending Ivy Tech and the folks working in the industrial park, and Farmersburg, and Sullivan County to get up here and get McDonald’s a little bit closer to them and hopefully eat here in Vigo County.” said Vigo County Commissioner Chris Switzer.
Switzer also said he’s hopeful this addition will encourage more investment and development in the area.
