(Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Friday said he wouldn’t mind if Japan’s Nippon Steel took a minority stake in U.S. Steel.
Speaking to reporters at the White House, Trump said the company – whose $14.9 billion bid for U.S. Steel was rejected by the President Joe Biden’s administration – is now considering an investment, including debt, in U.S. Steel.
