TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Thursday morning, a pediatric therapy clinic opened its doors in Terre Haute.
Associates in Pediatric Therapy will offer 4 types of therapy for people under the age of 21.
This includes children with autism, down syndrome, cerebral palsy, or any other mental of physical disability.
CEO and founder Renea Sageser explains one of the main things this facility will bring to the community.
“Our behavior model is going to have a school readiness program for kids that have been diagnosed with autism that we want to help prepare for the school setting so then they can go right into a school setting,” said Sageser.
Sageser said seeing these children smile while overcoming their challenges is the fuel that keeps everyone in this company going.
“To see the kids excited when they are walking in as they are so excited to see the slides, swings, and rock wall,” said Sageser. “When you see their faces, it is all worth it.”
This clinic is now open and ready for parents to come register their children. More information on registration can be found here.
