TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Pet Friendly Services of Indiana, in partnership with Public Vet mobile clinic, is ensuring every cat owner has access to affordable spay/neuter services with the “The FIX is IN!” clinics.
The two organizations have announced that scheduling for their first-quarter clinics is now open. Here’s a list of clinics available near the Wabash Valley:
- Mar. 26/28 – Terre Haute
- Mar. 30 – Brazil
- Feb. 21/22 – Evansville
- Feb. 12 – Terre Haute – SOLD OUT
In 2024, Public Vet said they hosted 155 spay/neuter clinics with support from Pet Friendly Services.
They said they fixed over 14,000 cats statewide (955 in Terre Haute), which “have significantly reduced shelter intake numbers and addressed cat overpopulation issues in countless communities… These efforts not only prevent the birth of thousands of unwanted kittens but also reduce the strain on shelters and rescue organizations.”
“Every cat we fix represents fewer homeless kittens, fewer shelter intakes, and more lives saved,” said Cheri Storms, Executive Director of Pet Friendly Services. “Thanks to our supporters, we’re easing the burden on shelters and rescues, and we’re excited to help even more cats in 2025.”
Due to high demand many first-quarter clinics have already been sold out, but to check for availability of clinics, see other clinics not listed here and register an appointment, you can do so on Public Vet’s website.
