TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A nice event for this winter night took place during the Second Annual Winter Warm-Up Soup Supper.
Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Wabash Activity Center, attendees paid $10 to eat a variety of soups and more! Also desserts were available for an extra dollar. All proceeds went to benefit the Wabash Activity Center’s roof replacement fund.
“Our building is about 100 years old,” said Karen Long Executive Director. “We want to invest in the building to keep it standing. A lot of our members are seniors and they rely on this place.”
