TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Menards is continuing an annual effort to provide food to people in need by collecting non-perishable food items at all of its locations.
Menards will then give those non-perishable food items to local charities.
First Assistant General Manager Gary Clark said Menards holds various drives throughout the year. Clark added that the Terre Haute community is always very generous and ready to help.
“We try to be stewards of the local community and to do our best to help out where we can and this is one of the ways we can do it is to be a collection point and that face for the community that hey we’ll get this collected we’ll get it to the people who are going to get it distributed to those in need,” said Clark.
Donations of new, non-perishable food items can be dropped off at any Menards location. Their goal is to fill up boxes and donate as much as they can.
