TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local boy continued a holiday tradition Monday by bringing Christmas cheer to children in the hospital.
Owen Farnsworth dressed up as Santa Claus and with the help of his brother, made a special delivery to over 20 children at Union Hospital.
“We’re here at the pediatric unit and we are going to deliver the totes that people helped sew. We brought a blanket, books, and a stuffed animal,” said Owen.
This effort started seven years ago. In the beginning, Owen helped by delivering totes that his grandmother had sewn. Since then, Owen has also learned to sew and now helps make the totes too.
