LINTON, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Today is Giving Tuesday, a time when many people choose to donate to causes that are near and dear to them.
It’s an important time for many organizations and foundations that rely on community contributions to offer the services they provide.
For the Greene County General Hospital Foundation, that generosity allows the hospital to offer a wide range of programs that provide further support for patients.
Those programs include Sweet Dreams Baby Bundles, the Lexi Poindexter Memorial Project, Project GIVE, Spiritual Care and the hospital’s future Chief of Pawsitivity Therapy Dog program.
“So many people have received care from this hospital and have received love and support from the hospital, this is the way that you can give back,” said Hospital CEO Brenda Reetz.
