SULLIVAN, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – A local community is helping to ensure children stay warm this winter season.
Century 21 Elite, Sullivan is teaming up with Heart of Sullivan to collect blankets and socks for children.
People can drop off donations at Century 21 Elite’s office at 23 S Main Street, Monday through Friday from 9am to 4pm.
Santa will distribute the blankets to children during Heart of Sullivan’s Downtown Christmas event on December 14.
“Last year, we had around 700 donations for the blanket drive through the Heart of Sullivan and that truthfully just goes to speak for itself, how well we’ve come to work together as a community and truly how much these children enjoy getting a free blanket and a free pair of socks,” said Tipton Davis, a Century 21 Elite, Sullivan Realtor.
Each blanket donated will get you an entry to win a holiday basket courtesy of Century 21 Elite, Sullivan.
