TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Some people decided to eat at a restaurant this Thanksgiving.
We headed to Golden Corral in Terre Haute. It saw lots of folks come in for lunch. A manager said the people who show up are grateful to have a place to go and a patron had a few words as well.
“They’re very thankful. They’re Thankful for us workers being here so we can celebrate with them honestly. They’re very generous,” Manager and Server Audrey Caruthers said.
“We’re all blessed in some way and it’s just very important to appreciate our family and how fortunate we are and I love them. IT’s just good to be able to sit down and talk about the things we’re grateful for,” Restaurant Customer Danielle Keirns said.
Some other restaurants in the area were open as well.
