TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – The community can help local senior citizens have a great Christmas through Home Instead’s annual “Be a Santa to a Senior” program.
People can stop by Home Instead’s office at 631 E Springhill Drive in Terre Haute and pick out a bulb from the office’s Christmas tree.
Each bulb has the name of a senior and items you can get them for Christmas. The program is helping out about 250 seniors this year.
“Some seniors in our community may not have gotten gifts for the last couple of years so just bringing joy to them. We have a great program where we actually partner with some of our local military. They get in uniform. They deliver some of these gifts so it’s a really great time,” said Mindy Russell, General Manager of Home Instead.
For more information, you can call the office at 812-645-9266.
