TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Chances and Services for Youth’s focus this holiday season is to serve those that might not be able to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner.
With support from J. Ford`s Black Angus, CASY hosted its annual Thanksgiving dinner at the Booker T. Washington Community Center Tuesday evening. Volunteers and staff with CASY prepared over 200 meals to families in need during the holiday season.
CASY also serves children and families every single day of the year, with this just being one of many ways this local organization gives back to the community.
“We love giving back to the community, that is our mission, the community, serving the youth and families around us,” Youth Program Director Holly Mullenix said.
Due to the yearly support from J. Ford’s Black Angus CASY has been able to serve over 10,000 children in the community.
