TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Hundreds of educators are learning new ways of teaching their subjects during two large summits this week.
Indiana State University is hosting the annual Power of Reading Summit and Power of Math Summit.
The reading summit took place Monday and the math summit took place Tuesday.
These events bring hundreds of teachers to ISU and are also livestreamed in other states and countries.
“Ongoing professional development, continuous growth, the opportunity for teachers to collaborate is always important for the education profession and our sponsors make this possible at no cost to teachers across the country,” said Brad Balch, the Dean of the Bayh College of Education.
The event is sponsored by Duke Energy and CenterPoint Energy.
