VINCENNES, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Friday afternoon a ribbon cutting ceremony was held for a new Design and Innovation Studio at Flaget Elementary in Vincennes.
These labs are to introduce and grow students’ skills in multiple stem fields through interactive games and web programs. This lab was made possible due to the school’s partnership with Vincennes University and Purdue In-Mac.
Principal Samantha McClure said she can tell how much these students love learning these skills.
“Listening to them be able to articulate what they are learning and how they are applying it is just phenomenal,” said McClure.
There was also another Design and Innovation Studio opened this morning at Washington Catholic Elementary.
