VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Police say an impaired driver suffered serious injuries after crashing into a tree Wednesday in southern Vigo County.
It happened at Oregon Church Road and Mill Street.
The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and transported to a local hospital for serious injuries. Investigators say the driver was intoxicated at the time of crash.
Criminal charges are currently pending.
