TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— A jury trial set for Monday for one of the suspects in the murder of Antonio Jones has been canceled and is awaiting a new date.
Jamir Jordan one of the four suspects taken into custody for allegedly murdering Antonio Jones had a jury trial set for Monday that had to be canceled. According to court documents, this is due to his attorney making a motion to withdraw. A hearing is scheduled for Thursday following this development.
The other three suspects have had their jury trials moved as well, all due to motions of continuance. This has moved the original jury trials of both Nick O. Rogan and De’Rion M. Wilcox to January 6, 2025, and Levon J. Warrington’s new date to January 13, 2025.
The murder took place on May 7 and occurred in the 1800 block of South Center Street. The other victim was a woman who was taken to the hospital but was treated and released. All of the suspects were charged with murder, attempted murder, burglary, conspiracy to commit burglary, and aggravated battery.
