TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) –The Terre Haute Police Department are responding to an accident involving a train and a bicyclist in the 1500 block of Ash Street. Officials say the bicyclist was pronounced dead on the scene.
According to a Facebook post from the Terre Haute Police Department, uniformed officers responded to the incident around 6:10 pm, Thursday. The Crash Investigation Team was deployed to conduct an investigation, along with the Uniform Division.
The intersection at the scene will be remained closed for an extended amount of time to complete the investigation.
