FARMERSBURG, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Some select Indiana State Park properties will temporarily close for controlled deer management hunts.
Each hunt runs for two days. The first is Monday, Nov. 18, and Tuesday, Nov. 19. Along with the second being held Monday, Dec. 2, and Tuesday, Dec 3. The participating parks will close to the general public on the evening before each hunt. The parks will the re-open the morning after the hunts.

- Harmonie
- Lincoln
- McCormick’s Creek
- O’Bannon Woods
- Ouabache
- Pokagon
- Potato Creek
- Prophetstown
- Shades
- Shakamak
- Spring Mill
- Summit Lake
- Tippecanoe River
- Turkey Run
- Versailles
- Whitewater Memorial state parks
- Raccoon and Trine state recreation areas
- Cave River Valley Natural Area, which is managed by Spring Mill State Park.
