TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— ResCare Community Living received high accreditations from the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF).
ResCare is a community living provider that works with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. CARF has recognized their community living waiver homes as exemplary. CARF described the status of ResCare Indiana by stating that the staff is dedicated, tenured, and competent and that they are supportive and encouraging. CARF also praised ResCare on its events and opportunities for community engagement given to the individuals they help.

CARF is a nonprofit and independent accreditor of both health and human services. The CARF accreditation is one of the highest available that focuses on an organization’s commitment to improved quality and demonstrating CARF standards in service and business practices.
