TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Indiana State University’s Scott College of Business has announced the opening of the 2025-2026 Networks and Gongaware Scholarships.
These scholarships are prestigious awards given to support students at ISU with business majors who are participating in the Networks Program. The Networks Program is an esteemed leadership and professional development program. Indiana State University encourages high school seniors to apply for the scholarship.
Samuel Fox, a Presidential Scholar participating in the Networks program, shared his experience saying, “Receiving the Networks Scholarship has provided me with incredible personal and professional opportunities, lifelong relationships, and elevated leadership skills. The Networks Program has grown both my business knowledge and professional network, opening the door to a successful career focused on consistent development.”
The awards include an annual $9,000 scholarship along with a $3,000 professional development account that students can use over their four years. Multiple of the awards will be given out and there will be an opportunity to renew for up to three more years totaling up to more than $39,000. The awards are open to both Indiana and out-of-state students. High school students who do want to apply must submit their application materials to the Office of Admissions by December 1 and are encouraged to get their scholarship applications by December 15. High school students must have a cumulative GPA of at least 3.5, a SAT score of at least 1140, an ACT score of at least 23, or a ranking in the top 15% of their senior class.
Dr. Terry Daugherty, Dean of the Scott College of Business, expressed enthusiasm about the scholarships saying, “The Networks and Gongaware Scholarships are unique because they support student development inside and outside the classroom. A great business education must be an all-encompassing experience, and these awards help us deliver a dynamic learning environment that prepares our business students for career success.”
