VERMILLION COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Vermillion County Sheriff’s Office announced in a Facebook Post Thursday they had in custody a violent sex offender they’d been looking for over a month.
According to police documents, Bradley Kinderman’s parole officer hadn’t heard from him, and on September 23 a home visit was set up. Kinderman however was not found at the residence and deputies were informed by the property owner Kinderman had been picked up by someone two days prior and hadn’t returned. As of October 3, Kinderman hadn’t checked in the allotted 72-hour period and absconded from his home address which violates his status as a violent sexual predator.
Kinderman was arrested in 2013 on charges of child molesting- sexual intercourse or deviant sexual conduct with a child under 14 years. He agreed to a plea agreement in 2015. In 2022, he was found guilty of a probation violation in Fountain County. At that time Kinderman was found guilty of violating the terms of the sentence by failing to report, committing a new criminal offense, consuming a controlled substance for which he did not have a prescription during the period of supervision, and consumed alcohol during the period of supervision contrary to the terms of sentence and probation.
