TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Indiana State University is preparing for its annual Homecoming celebration on Saturday, October 26. This year’s theme will be, 100 Years of the Blue and White Parade, marking a century of tradition and Sycamore pride.
The festivities will begin at 9:00 a.m. with the Homecoming Parade in downtown Terre Haute. During the celebrations, student organizations, local schools, and community groups will design colorful floats, give lively performances and create spirited banners.
From 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Indiana State University Alumni Association will host its annual Alumni Association Tailgate at Memorial Stadium. University alumni and friends are invited.
At 1:00 PM, the Sycamores will take the field at Memorial Stadium to face Southern
Illinois University.
“Homecoming is one of the most meaningful times of the year at Indiana State University—a celebration of our history, cherished memories, and the incredible Sycamore spirit that unites us as one community. As we come together for the 100th Blue and White Parade, the football
game, and various exciting events, we are excited to welcome our alumni, friends, and
