TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Terre Haute Chevy is offering $10,000 to a donor in the United Way of Wabash Valley’s Annual Community Resource Drive.
The United Way of the Wabash Valley is holding its annual Community Resource Drive for its 65th year. According to a news release, this drive is a vital part of the organization’s work in the community by using the funds to directly go into support programs and initiatives to help struggling families. United Way not only receives donations from individuals but also by partnering with businesses. They have a virtual platform that allows employees to learn about the organization as well as easy ways to donate, including easy employee payroll deductions or direct donations to the United Way.
Donors can earn chances to win the cash prize based on their level of support. The ways to earn entries to the drawing are as follows:
- New donors at any giving level and any returning donor at same level giving or more = 1 Entry
- Every $25 increment donation from a new donor = 2 Entries
- Every $25 increment increase from a previous year donor over their last year’s gift = 2 Entries
- An added bonus with any new or increased gift reaching $500 or more = 20 additional Entries
Donations must be submitted by December 31 for a chance to win the drawing on January 6. United Way’s website is available for individuals to learn about the organization and donate in a way that matters to them. United Way of the Wabash Valley serves families in Clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion, and Vigo counties in Indiana and Clark county in Illinois.
