MARSHALL, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Marshall Autumn Fest kicks off today in Illinois.
The three-day event is held every year to ring in the new season.
It starts at 5 o’clock Wednesday with a fish fry, followed by a night of live entertainment, including a Taylor Swift “Sparks will Fly” experience.
Saturday and Sunday will each have breakfast at 7 a.m. Then a parade at 11 a.m. on Saturday and a car show on Sunday.
The Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce hosts the festival, and they say it’s for locals and travelers alike.
We feel like this really brings the community together. We’re excited to open it up for all of our people in the community and a lot of people come from everywhere for this. There’s a lot of family fun.
Nora Swalls – Executive Director – Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce
