TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Here are the food inspections for the last week in Terre Haute courtesy of the Vigo County Health Department.
Real Hacienda, 2750 S. 3rd St. (5 Critical, 5 Non-Critical) Observed employee food and drinks without lids placed on prep surfaces. Observed rotten lemons and tomatoes in walk-in cooler. Observed boxes of raw chicken sitting on dirty cutting board containing beef scraps and juices. Observed accumulated rust and debris on table mounted can opener. Observed refried beans and cooked chicken with peppers prepared the day prior in walk-in cooler at 52F. Found raw chicken sitting on prep table at 57F. Observed shredded cheese in prep cooler at 62F and bucket of salsa at 54F. All items shall be 41F or less.
China Garden, 1353 Wabash Ave. (3 Critical, 6 Non-Critical) Observed tub of raw chicken stored directly above open container of chili sauce. Observed multiple ready to eat and cooked items without date markings throughout kitchen. Observed hand wash sinks with soiled dish in basin and soiled wiping cloth on basin and plastic container blocking faucet handle.
Greek’s Pizzeria, 600 Wabash Ave. Suite B (2 Critical, 4 Non-Critical) Found multiple ready-to-eat food items without date of consumption. Observed accumulated carbon, food and grease debris on clean pizza screens.
Wendy’s 29590, 2835 East Wabash Ave. (1 Critical, 5 Non-Critical) Observed open bags of shredded cheese and container of cheese slices without date of consumption in walk-in cooler.
Dairy Queen, 395 E. Davis Dr. (1 Critical, 2 Non-Critical) Observed hot dogs and cheese slices in walk-in cooler without date of consumption.
