VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Update: One person was flown from the scene of a two vehicle accident that left two other’s injured in southern Vigo County.
According to the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at 8:36 a.m. Thursday at the intersection of Sullivan Place and Dallas Drive. Investigators determined that the cause of the crash was a driver disregarding a stop sign.
Chief Deputy Steve Meng said three people, including one juvenile, were injured in the crash. One of the people was taken by helicopter from the scene due to the severity of their injuries. The other two injured people were taken to Regional Hospital and have since been released.
Meng said the fatal crash team was dispatched and is investigating the crash.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Dallas Drive and South Sullivan Place. The two vehicle crash left one vehicle near the roadway and another further back in a ditch near a utility pole.
No word yet on possible injuries involved in the wreck.
Honey Creek Fire Department, the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office, and TransCare Ambulance responded to the scene.
