TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Work is underway on the east wall of the Vigo County History Center.
That’s the wall that has the iconic Coca-Cola mural in downtown Terre Haute. Tuesday, crews were spotted pressure washing the mural off the wall. The move is being done to allow renovation crews to repair the wall itself.
As we’ve previously reported, the wall deteriorated and has been suffering water leaks when it rains.
Executive Director Marla Flowers said repairs would begin this month and that the mural would be restored sometime this summer.
