MARSHALL, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV) — The City of Marshall, Illinois is preparing for a weekend filled with events leading up to Monday’s big solar eclipse.

One of the highlights will be a firework / drone show on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. near the soccer fields. “Be among the first to witness fireworks in the Wabash Valley skyline with cutting-edge drone technology filling the sky with vibrant colors and patterns with a hot air balloon glow,” according to the event’s website.
“Don’t miss Sunday’s kids day, featuring bounce houses, games, movies and telescopic views for the young and the young at heart!”
