TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A railroad bridge repair will close a portion of Wabash Avenue in Terre Haute.
That’s according to Terre Haute Department of Engineering Right of Way Utility Inspector Jim Roetker, who said the closure is expected to run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Monday, February 26.
Cooper Contracting will be performing repairs to a railroad bridge that crosses above Wabash Ave. The section of the street that’s closing runs from Fruitridge Avenue to Keane Lane.

A map shared from the city engineering department suggests a detour route utilizing U.S. 40 to Poplar Street to S. Fruitridge and the reverse.
