TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) – Firefighters were called to the scene of a house fire in Terre Haute on Tuesday morning.
According to Terre Haute Fire Department Chief Darrick Scott, units were dispatched to a home in the 1200 block of S. 11 1/2 Street shortly after 7 a.m.
THFD Battalion Chief Scott Dalton told a WTWO photographer on scene that as of 8 a.m. the fire had been put out.
No injuries were reported.
Chief Scott said the fire is under investigation and “looks suspicious.”
The home is considered vacant and had no utilities at the time.
