TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO-WAWV) — The United Way of the Wabash Valley held its annual meeting, on Thursday evening.
The organization honored individuals and businesses, that help in the goal of making the lives of people in Terre Haute and surrounding areas better.
The United Way helps provide funding for programs in clay, Parke, Sullivan, Vermillion and Vigo counties in Indiana and Clark County, Illinois. Those programs range from childcare initiatives to addiction recovery efforts to reading skills.
The event took place at the Terre Haute Convention Center.
