WEST TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Residents gathered on the Wabashiki Trail Friday evening for some Christmas cheer.
The Christmas Lights ride was a 10-mile social bike ride along the Wabashiki Trail in West Terre Haute. Those who attended decorated their bicycles with Christmas lights and some attendees even decorated themselves. All ages and skill levels, were welcomed to join in on the Christmas spirit.
Manager at Griffin Bike Park Rich Moore said he’s always excited for this event.
“This is one of my favorite rides of the year. We have the most fun with this one cause no ones serious, no ones trying to win anything. We just hang out and talk, and laugh, and just have a good time. It’s super exciting,” Moore said.
Eree hot chocolate and apple cider was served after the ride.
