WABASH VALLEY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Indiana Department of Homeland Security recently released the Residential Fire Fatalities data that shows an overall decrease in fire fatalities over the last few years.

However, the data also shows that fire fatalities across the state have been in decline with 86 fatalities in 2019, 73 in 2020, and 77 in 2021.
