DAVIESS COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A Martin County woman was killed Wednesday morning in a crash near Odon.
Indiana State Police are investigating the crash on US 231 at Deerfield Drive, involving a passenger vehicle driven by Brenda Fields, 64, of Loogootee and a semi driven by Hector Fajardo, 45, of Indianapolis. It is believed that Fields’ vehicle struck the semi, went off the roadway and flipped over, landing on its roof.
Fields was found unresponsive at the scene and was pronounced dead by the Daviess County Coroner. Fajardo was not injured.
