According to the Honey Creek Fire Department, the fire happened around 10:43 a.m. at Trail’s Edge Apartments near Davis Drive.
The Terre Haute Fire Department found a woman inside the apartment. She was flown to a hospital in Indianapolis for smoke inhalation.
Honey Creek Fire Chief Tom High said they assisted in extinguishing the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
