INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Authorities say six people have been hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after an SUV crashed into a store on Indianapolis’ northwest side.
Firefighters say six of the people injured were taken to area hospitals, and another person hurt declined medical treatment at the scene.
Indianapolis and Pike Township medics and police were dispatched to the crash shortly after 4 p.m. in a strip mall.
Police say some of those injured are employees of the store, police said. Officer William Young said the car was parked outside of the store, but it’s unclear what led up to the crash.
