MARTIN COUNTY, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Two people were arrested on drug charges Saturday after a Martin County deputy smelled the odor of burnt marijuana while on foot patrol in Loogootee.
Travis Salmon, 28, of Loogootee and Kacrissa Lintz, 29, of Williams were in a parked vehicle in an alley when the deputy approached them to inquire about the smell. Salmon gave up a bag of marijuana and a burnt marijuana cigarette to the deputy.
A search of the vehicle also uncovered methamphetamine.
Salmon and Lintz were both charged with possession of methamphetamine. Lintz was also charged with possession of marijuana.
