TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — A coffee shop on Terre Haute’s north side is open for business and helping a group along the way.
Little Bear Coffee Company on Lafayette Avenue celebrated its grand opening all weekend, finishing it off Sunday with a fundraiser for Cub Scout Pack 124.
The scouts sold hand decorated coffee cups filled with baked goods and gift certificates to local businesses. The event raised money for their activities this year.
The manager of Little Bear Coffee company said having the fundraiser during their grand opening is their way of showing support to the community.
“We love being part of the community. As much as we can help, that’s what we’re here for. That’s what we created this coffee shop for. A lot of it is community driven,” said owner, Kristina Harder.
Little Bear Coffee Company will be open Sundays with a brunch menu.
