TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — One of the four suspects in the murder of Antonio Jones is back in court on Thursday, as his November trial date is canceled.
Jamir Jordan has been charged with the murder of Antonio Jones, along with De’Rion Wilcox, Nick O. Rogan, and Levon J. Warrington.
The four suspects allegedly entered the home of Jones and shot him five time, killing him, on May 7, 2024.
Another woman inside the home was also shot four time, according to court documents.
Along with the murder charge, Jordan faces charges of attempted murder, burglary, and aggravated battery.
Jordan appeared in court on Thursday, October 9, for a hearing. According to court record the hearing is for “further proceedings.”
Jordan was scheduled for a trial date in November, but that date has been canceled, according to court records. No other date has been set at this time.
The other three suspects in the case are also awaiting trial.
