BRIDGEPORT, Ill. (WTWO/WAWV)— A stabbing on Monday in Bridgeport, Illinois, resulted in one person being airlifted to an Indiana Hospital.
According to the news release from the Bridgeport Police Department, officers and deputies with the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department responded to a home for a domestic incident that resulted in someone being stabbed.
Keith E. Green was arrested at the scene and taken to Lawrence County Memorial Hospital for treatment before being released into the custody of law enforcement. Green is currently being held in the Lawrence County Jail on charges of unlawful restraint and aggravated domestic battery.
The victim was taken by helicopter to Deaconess Hospital in Evansville. WTWO will update this story if more information becomes available.
