TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — Gas prices in Indiana have fallen 10.8 cents per gallon in the last week, making the average price of gas 14.1 cents per gallon lower than this time last year, according to GasBuddy.
GasBuddy is an online website and app that tracks gas prices across the United States and Canada.
In their latest price report—which surveyed 3,271 gas stations in Indiana— they found that the average price of gas in Indiana is sitting at about $3.03 per gallon on Monday, September 22. Prices are, on average, 11.3 cents per gallon higher than a month ago.
According to GasBuddy, gas prices in Indiana on Sunday, September 21, were as low as $2.64 per gallon and as high as $3.89, a difference of $1.25 per gallon.
The national average price of a gallon of gas rose 2.2 cents to $3.14 per gallon in the last week, 1.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago.
