TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV)— Small businesses will gather at Hair on Hulman this weekend to help raise money for the Terre Haute Humane Society.
From 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., people can come out to Hair on Hulman to learn about some of the small businesses in the area while supporting the humane society. There will be raffles during the vendor fair, and that money will go towards the humane society. They will also accept donations of things like food, toys, and other items the humane society needs. Crystal Renfro is the owner of Hair on Hulman, and she wanted to do an event like this to help an organization so important to the area.

“My animal brings me such joy and comfort, and I know that the people that work over there at the humane society try so hard to give their all, and they only have a limited supply,” Renfro said. “I just know that there’s such a need, and I just felt that it was just laid on my heart to help.”
The vendor fair is this Saturday, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Hair on Hulman, and Floyd’s Smash Court will be there to serve food during the event. If you can’t make the event but still wish to donate to the humane society, you can drop items off at the salon.
