TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — The Vigo County Sheriff’s Office has identified the woman killed at a Love’s Truck Stop on U.S. 41 in Vigo County after she was struck by a truck on Saturday morning.
The victim has been identified as Amanda Ludlow, 47, of West Terre Haute.
According to the Vigo County Sheriff’s Office, just before 9:30 a.m., authorities were dispatched to 1740 E Harlan Drive in reference to a vehicle versus pedestrian accident. Ludlow was pronounced dead on the scene.
Initial investigation revealed a truck was backing into a parking space at the time that Ludlow was struck.
