TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — This weekend, the Pride Center of Terre Haute will be hosting its fourth annual Terre Haute Pride Fest at Fairbanks Park.
The festival, in partnership with the City of Terre Haute Parks and Recreation Department, will be held at Fairbanks Park for the first time this year.
According to organizers, the event is a free, family-friendly festival celebrating the local LGBTQ+ community.
“The event will feature live entertainment, drag performances, all-ages activities, and more than 90 booths from LGBTQ+ affirming businesses, community organizations, and food vendors,” said organizers in a press release.
The festival will be held on September 13, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
An after-party, hosted by local drag artist Alora La Bella, for people over the age of 21 will be held at Tolly’s Bar. An after-party for all ages will be held at the Wigwam Skate & Event Center. Those parties will begin at 9 p.m.
